ABOUT THE TEAM
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Analytics Enablement and Total Funds Solutions Delivery, the Senior Developer will be a key member of the solutions delivery team by contributing their expertise and support in various development phases for the solutions of diverse clients.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Developer, Analytics Enablement and Total Fund Solutions Delivery, you will:
- Design and develop highly scalable and reliable data pipelines and platforms to contribute to the delivery strategy
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions using Snowflake and Databricks
- Manage and participate in the evaluation and analysis of requests, such as change and/or evolution requests
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure maintainability and sustainability of products
- Debug and troubleshoot issues and bugs to provide product evolution recommendations
- Document and communicate your work and progress
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in order to provide guidance to the team and improve existing products and efficiency
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Five (5) years of relevant experience, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in data engineering
- Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks features and concepts such as warehouses, databases, roles, security, data sharing, performance tuning, and data engineering
- Experience in using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD tools
- Experience in the financial industry and in monitoring industry development techniques and tools
- Experience with web applications and services using C
