Your role
Within the specific scope of this Web Content Editor position, you will be required to produce large format and multimedia content, which will be both credible and engaging.
You will therefore keep abreast of developments in the digital field. You will contribute to the short- and medium-term planning of upcoming publications and their influence on Radio-Canada’s various platforms and on social networks.
You will work on special projects, applying your cross-disciplinary expertise. The quality of your written French must be outstanding and superior to that of your co-workers. Photo and video skills are required.
This is a one (1) year contract.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years’ relevant experience
Skills:
- Good general and current-events knowledge
- Superior French-language skills. Editorial skills; excellent knowledge of grammar and syntax
- Knowledge of English is an asset
- Proficiency with communication techniques and tools specific to digital platforms
- Good knowledge of research and interview techniques
- High tolerance for stress and ability to work well under pressure during rush periods
- Ability to work effectively on a team
- Knowledge of photo and video is an asset
- Strong ability to digitize, format, and edit audiovisual material
