About the role
Are you looking to take on a key role in accounting within a well-established, human-sized company where precision and autonomy are valued? Perfect, we have an opportunity for you!
Our client, a Quebec-based company specializing in technological solutions and management systems, is looking for a senior accounting clerk to support its growth and actively contribute to its financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full accounting cycle.
- Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and deposits.
- Produce government remittances (GST, QST, EHT, etc.).
- Manage payroll.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Record month-end and year-end entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and collaborate in the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Work with external accountants and financial partners.
- Ensure filing, organization, and archiving of accounting documents.
- Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements:
- DEC in Accounting or equivalent training.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written, to communicate with clients (70% French-speaking, 30% English-speaking).
Salary: Around $50,000 per year Schedule: Day shift – 3 or 4 days per week Status: Permanent
