Responsibilities:

-       Assign daily tasks to welders and ensure each workstation has work.

-       Prepare and move materials, parts, and assemblies to the appropriate workstations.

-       Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.

-       Maintain a clean and safe production environment.

-       Communicate with supervisors to report any immediate issues on the floor.

-       Ensure basic materials and consumables (gloves, welding wire, gas) are available for each shift.

-       Assist with inventory and tool organization as needed.

-       Perform all other related duties.

Requirements:

-       Experience working on a production floor or in industrial handling.

-       Ability to operate a forklift (certification is an asset).

-       Good physical condition and ability to work independently.

-       Fluency in spoken and written French. Functional English is required for a small percentage of customer interactions (approximately 5%).

-       Ability to ensure all workstations have work for the shift.

-       Maintain a safe and orderly production floor.

-       Prevent production downtime related to lack of materials or consumables.

Salary: $25 per hour.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Status: Permanent position.
