Our client, recognized as one of Canada's best-managed companies, is currently looking for an experienced forklift loader to join their warehouse in Dorval.

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, the forklift operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods using a sit-down electric forklift, in an LTL and Cross Dock environment.

The tasks include:

• Operating a sit-down electric forklift while adhering to safety standards.
• Unloading trailers efficiently.
• Loading trailers while respecting current safety and transportation standards, ensuring optimal use of available space in the trailer. It is essential to ensure that pallets are properly secured to prevent them from falling or shifting during transport.
• Using a scanner to organize pallets and track the movement of goods.
• Palletizing and loading based on cubic volume and weight distribution.
• Placing goods in the cubes according to established loading procedures.
• Performing basic maintenance on the forklift.
• Performing other related tasks to support operations.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience with sit-down electric forklifts (essential).
• 2-3 years of experience in an "LTL" and/or "Cross Dock" environment (required).
• Experience in stacking pallets using logistics bars.
• Valid forklift operator card (required).

Salary: $26 per hour Schedule: Day shift, 4 AM – 12 PM Status: Temporary
