Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
- Assist in the monthly consolidation process and perform intercompany reconciliations
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key business drivers
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes while developing dashboards and KPIs to track business drivers
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for major balance sheet items
- Support audit requests and documentation preparation
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Assist in system implementations or upgrades (ERP, reporting tools)
- Investigate and resolve A/R and A/P discrepancies by collaborating with sales and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred
- 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite)
- Experience with financial reporting tools (Power BI, etc.) is an asset
- Knowledge of US GAAP, taxes and regulations an asset
