Our client, a well-known food manufacturing company located in Montreal, is currently seeking an Electromechanic to join their maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance programs on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production lines.
- Manage and track maintenance interventions using the maintenance software system.
- Carry out facility and equipment upgrade projects.
- Perform welding and machinery repairs as required.
- Participate in minor building repairs and renovations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and SQF food safety standards.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with various continuous improvement projects.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements
- DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Electromechanics or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with TIG and MIG welding.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Must possess personal tools.
