We are currently seeking a Handyman / Building Maintenance Worker to ensure the proper operation of the organization’s facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and building systems;
- Carry out general building repairs;
- Assist with light renovation work, including painting, plastering, basic plumbing, hardware installation, and related tasks;
- Maintain the safety and condition of outdoor areas, particularly during the winter season;
- Perform certain maintenance tasks on rolling equipment and tools used by the organization;
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards;
- Participate in other projects and support activities as needed;
- Perform any other related duties.

Requirements
- Significant experience in industrial maintenance, general building maintenance, or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, basic electrical systems, and equipment maintenance;
- High level of versatility and a hands-on approach to daily challenges;
- Resourcefulness, autonomy, and initiative;
- Ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions;
- Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude.
Salary: $22 to $28 per hour
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday – 35 hours per week
Status: Permanent
