Notre client, une société bien établie et réputée spécialisée dans la propriété et la gestion immobilières commerciales, est à la recherche d'un comptable immobilier principal pour rejoindre son équipe financière en pleine expansion. Il s'agit d'une occasion passionnante de jouer un rôle clé dans la gestion financière d'un grand centre d'achats, tout en travaillant dans un environnement collaboratif et stable offrant d'excellentes perspectives de carrière à long terme.

Principales responsabilités

• Gérer l'ensemble du cycle comptable d'un grand immeuble commercial de vente au détail.
• Préparer les états financiers de fin de mois et de fin d'année, ainsi que les annexes à l'appui.
• Effectuer les rapprochements comptables, les écritures au journal et la tenue du grand livre général.
• Préparer et traiter la facturation des locataires, y compris les rapprochements de la 13e facture.
• Analyser les écarts entre les prévisions budgétaires et les résultats réels et fournir des analyses financières à la direction.
• Participer à l'élaboration des budgets, aux prévisions et aux exigences liées à la vérification de fin d'exercice.
• Veiller à ce que les rapports financiers soient exacts et remis dans les délais établis.
• Contribuer à l'amélioration continue des processus et assurer la conformité aux politiques de l'entreprise et aux normes comptables.

Qualifications

• Baccalauréat, certificat en comptabilité ou DEC en comptabilité
• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en comptabilité, de préférence dans l'immobilier commercial ou la comptabilité immobilière
• Solides connaissances du cycle comptable complet et de la production de rapports financiers
• Excellentes aptitudes analytiques et de résolution de problèmes, ainsi qu'un grand souci du détail
• Maîtrise d'Excel; une expérience avec des logiciels de gestion immobilière ou de comptabilité est un atout
• Solides aptitudes en communication et capacité à travailler en collaboration avec les intervenants internes

Our client, a well-established and respected commercial real estate owner and property management company, is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the financial management of a large retail shopping centre while working in a collaborative and stable environment with excellent long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for a large commercial retail property.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and process tenant billings, including 13th invoice reconciliations.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide financial insights to management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit requirements.
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate and completed within established deadlines.
• Support ongoing process improvements and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, accounting certificate or DEC in accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate or property accounting
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with property management/accounting software is an asset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
