About the role
Are you passionate about IT infrastructure and enjoy working in complex technology environments? Our client, a well-established company, is looking for a Senior Systems and Network Administrator to join its team. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution, optimization, and maintenance of the organization’s technology infrastructure while serving as a technical reference for internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of systems and network infrastructures.
- Administer, configure, and maintain server and network environments.
- Participate in infrastructure modernization and enhancement projects.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
- Provide advanced-level technical support in collaboration with the IT team.
- Assist in the creation and updating of technical documentation and procedures.
- Act as a resource person for internal teams.
- Contribute to troubleshooting complex issues and analyzing incidents.
- Share knowledge and participate in mentoring team members.
- Perform any other related duties.

Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 to 9 years of experience in systems and network administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
- Good knowledge of switches, routers, VLANs, ARP, and OSPF.
- Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Good understanding of network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, 802.11, 802.1X, ACL, SSL, and TLS.
- Availability for occasional travel within Quebec.
- Bilingualism in French and English, required to collaborate with teams located outside Quebec (approximately 50% of the time in English).

Salary: Approximately $95,000 per year, based on experience
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
