Job Description Reporting to the Associate Marketing Director, the 6-12 month contract Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the BD Interventional (BDI) business through key marketing processes. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to start their marketing career in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will develop essential skills in marketing execution, communication, and business operations—building a strong foundation for professional growth. The Marketing Coordinator will be highly collaborative, working closely with the sales team, marketing team, and shared services business partners. Success in this role requires a strong customer focus, keen attention to detail, and a flexible, proactive approach. You will be onsite in our offices in Mississauga Monday to Thursday, and work from home on Fridays. Key Responsibilities Maintenance of national conference calendar. Coordinate logistics for conferences, including inventory and supply management. Assist with tradeshow planning and execution. Support webinar communications and logistics related to conferences and events Organize logistics for events, advisory boards, and other customer-facing activities. Provide administrative support to the Marketing team. Sample coordination as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience required: Bachelor’s degree. Event management experience is an asset. Bilingual French and English (read, write, speak) an asset. Knowledge & Skills required: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a true team player. High drive for results and a proactive, ambitious mindset. Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
