Fundstream is a leader in Canadian gift card marketing and fulfillment. Founded in 2003, Fundstream operates three lines of business (fundraising, incentives and fulfillment) and provides its customers with national coverage, bilingual services and access to a catalogue of over 300 gift card brands.
Fundstream's sophisticated gift card management and fulfillment platform provides advanced gift card capabilities, digital wallets, API connectivity and best-in-class delivery turnaround times.
Fundstream is expanding rapidly and is currently looking for a Senior Programmer to join its team. This is a permanent position with 100% remote work, but in-person attendance at the office is required once a month for our monthly team event (lunch included!) 😊
Your Mission
The position entails 80% programming and 20% testing / code review / analysis. Reporting to the Vice President, IT, your responsibilities will be:
- Design and development of high-quality platform features and applications.
- Testing, debugging and maintenance.
- Perform low level technical analysis and contribute to writing documentation and specifications.
- Collaborate with QA, Design and Operations where applicable.
- Build deployment and other DevOps duties including management of QA environments.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 7+ experience with C#/.NET.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Web API 2, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge and experience with SQL and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Advanced level of English proficiency required due to documentation in English.
Profile Sought
- Experience with web services and API design principles.
- Experience with unit testing and QA best practices.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps Server and source control versioning systems.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of software development methodology and lifecycle processes.
- Must be willing to learn new technologies and processes as needed.
- Work effectively independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
