POSITION SUMMARY

• A Wax Hand Artist creates custom wax hand sculptures for guests by guiding them through a hands-on molding and dipping process. This role blends creativity, customer interaction, and safe operation of heated wax equipment to deliver a fun, memorable experience.
• A Retail Cashier is responsible for the accurate processing of product purchases, pricing and displaying items for sale, stocking of product.
• Shift hours range from 7:30am to 3am.

SALARY: $18.40 per hour + 3% Commission on the sale of each Wax Hand you create

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - WAX HAND ARTIST

• Create wax hand sculptures by assisting guests through the molding and dipping process
• Safely operate wax heating equipment and maintain proper temperature control
• Provide clear instructions and ensure guest comfort throughout the experience
• Customize wax hands and colour combinations, poses, and optional add-ons
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workstation
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and operational procedures
• Deliver friendly, engaging customer service to guests of all ages

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - RETAIL CASHIER

• Be an Ambassador for Clifton Hill, interact with our guests and show off your knowledge of the area including the various attractions, retail and food & beverage outlets
• Greet customers WITH A SMILE
• Operate cash register and process purchases
• Provide excellent customer service
• Stock and clean shelves
• Price and display goods for purchase
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle materials properly

Teamwork

• Collaborate with other wax hand artists to manage customer flow.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Artistic ability or craftsmanship experience (sculpting, molding, painting, etc.) preferred but not required—training provided.
• Comfort working with warm/hot materials and equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in busy environments.
• Attention to detail and steady hand coordination.
