We are seeking a versatile CWB Welder with piling experience

We are looking for a few good hands. We have been in the screw piling industry for +15 years servicing the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, Energy and Residential markets. We are seeking a versatile CWB welder with the following skills, interests and experience.

Duties for this position include:

-Daily Safety paperwork

-Blue Print reading and understanding

-Weld Procedure reading and understanding

-Shop and field work

-Laying out piles and pile caps

-Cutting and capping of pilings

-Pile Splice Fitting and Welding

-Fabrication of helical piles and other piling components

• Fabrication of miscellaneous tooling & equipment

-Assisting with the loading/unloading and securing loads of pile materials and equipment on trailers with skid steer/loader

-Assisting in screw pile installation

-Operate and maintain welding machine company and welding rig truck

-Maintenance support for equipment, trucks, trailers and tools

Requirements:

• Acceptance and experience working in safety orientated work settings

-An accountable, dependable and respectful character with an upbeat positive attitude

-A natural sense of urgency, responsibility and efficiency

-Interpersonal communication skills interacting with clients and others

-Ability work in a team or independently

-Ability to work in and out of town

-Journeyman with CWB All position SMAW, FCAW

-Ability to teach and guide

-Minimum 2yrs Pile Foundation related construction experience

-Working knowledge of laser levels

• Skid steer/loader operating experience with material handling experience

-Valid Class 5 Licence and 3yr drivers? transcript

-Experience pulling goose neck trailers with 1-5 tonne trucks

-Mechanically inclined

-Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively

-Valid CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, H2S

Compensation- Wage depending on experience, company benefit package, LOA as required

Nice to have: CWB Welding Supervisor ticket, GMAW, Excavator experience (200 sizes, Skid steer ticket, Driven & Helical Pile Installation experience.
