Position Highlights Our Micrographics department is currently seeking a temporary (6 months) full-time Imaging Services Clerk to join their team. In this role, you will take on repetitive work that requires independence and concentration. Primarily, you will be responsible for scanning, quality control, validation of corporate documents and maintaining computerized records. The work environment will have exposure to noise and paper dust, and involves exposure to cleaning and lubricating products. Your responsibilities will include:
Setting up and operating scanner equipment related to imaging services for relevant corporate databases; Retrieving and reviewing scanned documents and verifying data for accuracy; Maintaining records of all incoming/outgoing batches of documentation in the department; Responding to customer enquiries related to progress of work and document location.
Position Requirements Your qualifications will include:
At least one year of office related experience dealing with documentation and computer systems; Ability to sit for prolonged periods while operating scanner and related equipment; Strong mental and visual concentration in order to operate office equipment; High attention to detail and ability to provide accurate results when scanning a considerable volume of documentation; Ability to lift heavy bins of numerous documents.
Position Information Work schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Please note that this position will require working on-site full-time, 5 days per week at our North Vancouver Head Office. The hourly rate for this position is $26.86 - $28.88 (plus an additional 19.2% in lieu of vacation and benefits =$32.02 - $34.42 hourly).
