Registered Physiotherapist (PT)
Position Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Registered Physiotherapist to join our high-performance clinic in Mississauga, ON. This is a program-based, outcomes-focused role starting at part-time (minimum 2 full days/week, including one weekend day).
Hiring Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
You must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:
- Registration: Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Licensure: Hold an Independent Practice Certificate (no residents or supervised practice).
- PCE: Successfully passed the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (completion date required).
- Insurance: Active professional liability insurance (proof required prior to hire).
- Regulations: Completed the Ontario Jurisprudence Module and possess working knowledge of PHIPA.
- Eligibility: Legally authorized to work in Ontario.
Clinical Profile & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of post-graduate hands-on clinical experience.
- Manual Therapy: Advanced skills in precision manual therapy and treatment-based approaches.
- A.R.T.: Certified or highly experienced in Active Release Techniques.
- Mindset: Growth-oriented, competitive, and comfortable in a results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessments: Perform high-level clinical assessments to deliver precise diagnoses and strategies.
- Care Plans: Build, present, and secure commitment for structured, outcome-focused treatment programs.
- Treatment: Deliver hands-on therapy utilizing manual techniques and A.R.T.
- Rehabilitation: Guide patients through targeted movement and recovery protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes using Juvonno software.
- Metrics: Track clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on objective patient progress.
Schedule & Employment Terms
- Model: Program-based care rather than a single-session, volume-based model.
- Hours: Minimum 2 full days per week to start, including mandatory availability for either Saturdays or Sundays.
- Hiring Timeline: Immediate. Candidate must be ready to move quickly through interviews and practical testing.
Interview ProcessShortlisted candidates must complete an on-site practical evaluation, including:
- A mock patient assessment.
- Presentation of a structured treatment plan with clear clinical reasoning.
