Feeding Attendant
Good timing! We are looking for a Feeding Attendant to maintain a continuous supply of the mix line, to keep high quality standards, and meet safety standards needed for the plant to run efficiently at our Oakbank facilities. With your vigilance, you will ensure that production runs smoothly. Your role within the team is very important and you will be recognized for your work.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Plan and stage raw materials according to the production plan for the day;
- Pick-up and drop of large bales of peat in the staging area using a forklift;
- Unwrap peat bales and deliver them to feeding equipment for processing in the mix line;
- Make the necessary adjustments to respect the production recipe;
- Ensure the inventory tracking system is updated;
- Keep work area clean and organized throughout the shift;
- Organize leftover wood pallets for recycling or repair;
- Operator compactor to compact and bale all leftover plastic.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have experience operating a forklift;
- You are an autonomous and rigorous person;
- You are a good team player;
- You have a good ability to take quick decisions;
- You must be available to work day, evening and night shifts;
- You have a basic knowledge of computers (Windows environment).
