About the role
Job Purpose
The General Labour ensures the proper handling, identification, and inspection of raw and finished parts within the paint-finishing process. This role focuses on loading, unloading, and inspecting parts to maintain quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and rack parts as per the daily schedule. Load and unload parts from the line, ensuring adherence to instructions. Perform inspections for obvious defects on raw and reworked parts. Plug, mask, or prepare parts following specified guidelines. Remove excess water post-pretreatment, if required. Pack finished products per packaging instructions. Segregate non-conforming material and assist with rework as needed.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures. Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
