Role Description
Job Title: Associate Principal - Architecture
Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire ClaimCenter Cloud Systems Architect to lead solution architecture for ClaimCenter Cloud upgrades and enterprise integrations This role is responsible for defining target architecture guiding upgrade safe customization and designing integrations between ClaimCenter and internal external systems using Guidewire Cloud integration capabilities Cloud APIs and the Integration Framework Integration Gateway while aligning to enterprise standards for security reliability and observability The architect will partner with business and engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions across the claims ecosystem policy billing finance digital channels data analytics and vendor networks Minimum Years of Experience 12 - 15 years of overall with 8 years in Guidewire Insurance Suite including 5 years as a technical lead architect on ClaimCenter or multicenter programs At least one Guidewire Cloud GWCP implementation or migration upgrade experience with hands on responsibility for integration design and delivery using Cloud APIs and or Integration Gateway and alignment with enterprise integration platforms such as ESBiPaaS event streaming
Technology Specific Experience
10 years of experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite ClaimCenter required PolicyCenter BillingCenter and Contact Manager preferred Strong ClaimCenter configuration and extension experience PCF GOSU rules data model with an upgrade safe mindset Guidewire Cloud GWCP experience working within cloud operational constraints release cadence and environment strategy proven ability to plan and execute upgrade cycles with minimal disruption Deep experience designing integrations for claims ecosystems using Guidewire Cloud integration capabilities including Cloud APIs and the Guidewire Integration Framework Handson experience building and or governing integrations using Integration Gateway Apache Camel based including patterns such as inbound gateway outbound proxy and asynchronous event driven integrations Experience integrating with enterprise middleware ESBiPaaS messaging event platforms vendor services document management payments fraud analytics and downstream data platforms Integration architecture skills API strategy canonical data modeling idempotency resiliency error handling and performance throttling Security architecture for integrations authentication authorization for example OAuth2 flows service credentials secrets management and compliance considerations Observability and operations logging monitoring traceability runbooks and production support readiness for integration services Guidewire delivery methods strong understanding of Guidewire implementation approach including SurePath concepts where applicable and Agile delivery Insurance domain experience with strong knowledge in Property Casualty claims processes FNOL coverage payments subrogation recoveries litigation vendor management Create and maintain system architecture documentation including model’s roadmaps standards and decision records Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire Cloud standards and integration best practices Strong engineering background Java JEE XMLJSON SQL web services RESTSOAP and CICD cloud exposure AWS preferred Excellent communication stakeholder management and leadership skills Mandatory Certification: Guidewire Cloud Certified ACE ClaimCenter preferred
