This program operates 7 days a week and candidates need to be flexible and available for a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, and nights. Duties include assisting clients with personal care, arranging and escorting clients to appointments, and housekeeping services. Personal Support Worker certificate is not required but is considered an asset. We welcome candidates with any previous caregiving experience. Employment Requirements: High School Diploma Courses relating to personal support services for persons with disabilities or seniors, health & safety, first aid, physical and emotional needs of persons is an asset. Experience providing support for persons with disabilities or seniors on a paid or voluntary basis either in a work setting or through personal life experiences is beneficial. Starting Hourly Rate: $25.43 AbleLiving Services is a non-profit organization providing personal support services to adults with disabilities living within their own home or one of our independent living facilities. Our clients direct and customize the services they receive and we support them to maximize their independence and enhance their quality of life.
