Job Title: Parts Counter
Location: CAMUS Hydronics (Mississauga, Ontario)
Non-Union
$21-$22/hour CAD
Basic Function: To assist with the counter parts sales and customer service.
Essential Duties
- Sells products and/or services to customers.
- Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledge all customers he/she comes in contact with.
- Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
- Provide service technicians with parts as required.
- Enter order into ERP System.
- Packing and shipping order and cutting refractories
- Uses company equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
- Follow up on shortages and expedites.
- Treat customers fairly, with honesty and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, other employees and owners.
- Be on time, flexible and available for scheduling.
- Demonstrate an interest in growing the parts business.
Other Duties: As assigned by the supervisor.
Internal Contacts: Contacts required as a regular part of daily duties involving
work of non-controversial nature.
External Contacts: Supplier and customers
Education Required: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years in an
customer serivce environment.
Experience Required: 1 years+
Physical Skill and Effort
Requires skilled, accurate, rapid, and closely coordinated manual skill. Work
also requires a considerable variety of fairly steady, active physical exertion.
Working Conditions and Hazards
Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly
disagreeable features. Negligible or no exposure.
