About the role
Hourly rate starting at: 26$ per hour
Status : Seasonal, Full-Time
Schedule : Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
- Candidates must be able to work outdoors in all conditions, work flexible hours during weekdays and weekends, including overtime.
Place of Work: Agromart Group Terminal, Belton, ON.
THE CHALLENGES WE PROPOSE
- Operate heavy equipment including a forklift, tractor, loader with top tip bucket, trackmobile, and railcar mover;
- To handle, store, and distribute products for Agromart Partner’s retail businesses, fertilizers and other crop-input products;
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required to operate the terminal storage facilities;
- Follow safe operating procedures and participate in the Environmental Health and Safety Programs
- Perform minor repairs on various pieces of equipment;
- Work and Interact with customers, truck drivers, and employees courteously and professionally;
- Provide general assistance within the facility and perform additional duties as needed.
YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE
- You have good computer skills to operate scale systems;
- You are physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs;
- You have good communication skills;
- You work well within a small team as well as work independently;
- You are receptive to learn new skills;
- You have a valid G license.
