Processor, Portal Processing Unit - Remote
Reporting to the Team Lead, our at-home Insurance Processors key responsibility is to provide processing support to our branches by identifying and implementing best practices for administrative tasks.
Here is what a typical day looks like
- Adhering to workflow instructions ensuring a successful and timely portal processing
- Providing support to Network branches by issuing personal lines portal processing
- Liaising with Carrier, Underwriters, and branches, ensuring tasks are completed within service standards
- Issuing new applications, endorsements, and cancellations on company portals within the binding authority and ensuring accuracy of coverages and premiums
- Reporting of regular status updates and potential or actual issues to the necessary business team
- Completing other administrative functions as necessary to support the business need
The value you bring
- General Insurance License 1 required
- Prior experience in Personal Lines Insurance
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer programs at once
- Working experience with EPIC is an asset
- Hard Wired - High Speed Internet in a dedicated workspace is essential
Hours/Duration: Full-time 37.5 Hours / week
- Monday - Friday schedule with core hours shifting between 8-4 or 9-5 in your time zone
- Saturday-Sunday schedule (dependent on the needs of the business)
Location: Remote
- Company computer, monitors, keyboard, and mouse are all provided
- Our Central Processing Team (CPU) is required to work within 50km of a Western Financial Group Branch and submit time off requests within our vacation allocation standards to support proper staffing.
Salary Range: $45,500 - $65,500
