Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to create and maintain web-based information repositories, support systems and application infrastructure, and support the use of analytical and reporting tools

Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection and preparing the data for statistical analysis (e.g., ETL/ELT pipelines)
• Knowledge of information systems, relational databases (e.g., Oracle and MySQL), programming, web development and UNIX/Linux/Windows system administration
• Knowledge of institutional research and planning policies, procedures, and processes
• Knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions
• Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
• Experience with shell scripting and automation

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, Engineering, Mathematics, data science or related discipline
• Minimum of three to five years of previous information systems and computer systems experience
