Temporary Full-time for approximately five (5) months

HOURS:

Approximately 75.0 Bi-weekly Hours

SHIFTS:

Days / Weekends

7.5 Hours per shift (subject to change)

WAGE RANGE:

Scale Minimum Maximum

CUPE12 $27.79/hr $29.60/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The incumbent is responsible for the co-ordination of all portering services and local courier requests
• Accountable for accurate recording of all transactions related to these functions
• Demonstrates QCH values: accountability, innovation and respect

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 education

• At least two (2) years experience in dispatch functions in a computerised environment

• Must pass the functional testing relating to the essential physical demands of the job

• Knowledge and ability to resolve problems applicable to the position

• Perform daily tasks within set standards and limitations with minimal supervision

• Excellent organisational skills & work well in a team setting

• Proficiency in oral and written English

• Good communication skills with pleasant telephone manners

• Sound knowledge of equipment designated for the job

• Knowledge of Inventory System and Meditech software would be an asset

• Demonstrates QCH valuess: collaboration, accountability, innovation, respect
