Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Water Heater Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining water heating systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, knowledge of plumbing and construction, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and physical endurance.

Duties

• Install new water heating systems according to manufacturer specifications and building codes
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing water heaters to ensure optimal operation
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for proper installation procedures
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Conduct heavy lifting of water heaters and related components during installation or replacement
• Coordinate with clients and team members to ensure timely project completion
• Conduct system testing to verify proper operation after installation or repair
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Assist in the assembly of water heater units as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience with plumbing, HVAC, or construction work preferred
• Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations
• Experience with carpentry or Schematics is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 100 pounds)
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to water heater installation
• Valid driver?s license with commercial driving experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina for manual labor tasks including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
