Role Description The Parts Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dalhousie, NB, responsible for supporting customers and internal teams with accurate and timely parts information. Day-to-day tasks include assisting customers at the counter and by phone, identifying parts based on customer needs, and providing clear product information. The role involves managing parts inventory, processing orders, tracking stock levels, and maintaining organized records. The Parts Specialist will collaborate with colleagues to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently, handle returns and warranty inquiries, and contribute to a clean and safe workspace. This role requires consistent, professional communication with customers and vendors to support high service standards.
Qualifications
Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support a positive, helpful experience for every customer interaction. Inventory Management and Inventory Control skills to accurately track, store, and replenish parts and supplies. Strong Communication skills to clearly convey information to customers, teammates, and suppliers. Attention to detail and basic computer skills for order entry, inventory systems, and documentation. Ability to work on-site full time, including standing for extended periods and handling parts safely. Previous experience in parts, retail, automotive, industrial, or related environments is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or mechanical knowledge is considered beneficial. Demonstrated reliability, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety and teamwork.
