About the Role This position reports to the Manager, Deskside Operations Rural North. eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a customer focused, highly motivated, energetic team member for its Deskside Services team. The Deskside Analyst provides ongoing support to more than 1500+ computer users and solves a wide range of workstation, mobile device, and printing problems reported by users within eHealth Saskatchewan, the Ministry of Health, and Regional Health Authorities.
Our team members are expected to participate in an after‑hours standby rotation to ensure 24/7 operational support. The role also requires physical capability, including lifting and moving computer equipment weighing 50 to 65 pounds, as well as occasional stooping, bending, and crawling under desks. In addition, travel within the province is required, and the successful candidate must hold a Class 5 driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle to meet the needs of the position.
What You'll Do
-
Supply, install, and maintain workstation, print/imaging, and mobile services.

Troubleshoot issues for computer workstations, printers, installed software and smart devices and resolve these issues within given time constraints determined by service levels
-
Provides on-site installations, moves, adds, or changes for workstations, workstation peripherals, and print/imaging devices.

Apply solutions in accordance with best practice incident and problem management processes and to meet negotiated SLA’s

Performs workstation security patching, automated software delivery, installation package scripting or customization, using the SCCM application.

Performs research, analysis, and testing to ensure standards and procedures meet the needs of the client community.

Maintains accurate and current documentation on all aspects related to the scope of workstation services.
What You'll Bring to the Team
-
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Systems Technology or a related field
-
Minimum of 3 years working in a similar role within an integrated support environment
-
Experience supporting computers and related hardware such as Windows based PC's, Microsoft laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and fax machines
-
Proficiency with a variety of operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Apple OS, Android and IOS as well as internet browsers like Internet Explorer, Edge, and Chrome

Strong skills in M365 Online Tools, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Configuration Manager (SCCM/SMS) and various off-the-shelf workstation applications

Understanding of ITIL or ITSM frameworks, with hands-on experience using IT ticketing software tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or BMC Remedy

Prior experience in the healthcare industry in Saskatchewan or an ITIL certification would be considered an asset

**Organizational:**Ability to independently prioritize and organize one’s own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in a changing environment
**Analytical:**Ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on data, processes and methodologies, information technology and potential systems design to make feasible recommendations
**Technical:**Ability to design new or adapt existing systems/applications considering design alternatives, business requirements, and cost, resource, and time constraints
