About the role
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for the following:
Role:
A Quality Control Technician is responsible for helping to ensure all aspects of quality within our production. They will work closely with the quality control team to ensure all products meet intended specifications and requirements. The role may include hands on measuring, CMM programming and measuring, internal auditing, completing required documentation, or any other quality related tasks required.
Duties Include:
Inspect parts, dimensional and visual Aligning drawings and specifications with inspection checks to ensure accuracy Assuring that all completed parts are identified correctly, clean, deburred, well protected, and stored in a clean, solid and professional crate, box, or skid Assists with manufacturing internal quality audits Assist with tool calibration Attends Quality Meetings with Quality Manager Assist with any quality or production related tasks on the floor
Qualifications:
Minimum High School education or equivalent Certification in manufacturing or quality control considered and asset Mandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening
Experience:
2 to 5 years of work experience in quality control Experience reading engineering and manufacturing drawings required Experience in the machining industry is considered an asset Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc Knowledge of GD&T principles and concepts is considered an asset Experience with CMM operation or programing is considered an asset
Core Work hours:
7:30am-4:00pm Monday – Friday
