Our client, a well-established company in the field of industrial automation located in the Saint-Hyacinthe region, is looking to expand its team of passionate technician(ne)s to support its numerous projects across various sectors of the manufacturing industry. The tasks include:
- Responding to service calls for instrumentation and control.
- Programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
- Creating electrical drawings (Autocad Electrical) for control panels.
- Participating in the commissioning of new installations.
- Supporting sales teams in project estimation.
- Optimizing and improving existing systems.
- Training users and operators on equipment.
- Keeping up-to-date with new methods and innovations.
- Performing other related tasks.

What are the benefits of this position?

Requirements:
- DEP or DEC in automation, industrial control, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in programming Omron and Allen-Bradley PLCs (a significant asset).
- Strong skills with variable frequency drives, soft starters, and HMIs.
- Intermediate English, spoken and written, to communicate with English-speaking clients about 30% of the time.
Salary: To be discussed Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday Status: Permanent
