As they continue to expand their Commercial Division, they are looking for a relationship-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join their team.
The Role This is not a hunter role focused on cold calling. You will inherit a strong, established book of business and become the trusted advisor for commercial roofing contractors, builders, and key customers throughout the Halifax region.
Your role is to strengthen relationships, educate customers on products and solutions, and ensure every project receives exceptional service from quote to completion.
The territory is primarily based in Halifax, with approximately 10% travel throughout Nova Scotia, including occasional visits to Cape Breton.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Managing and growing an established commercial customer base. Building long-term relationships with commercial contractors and builders. Providing product recommendations and technical guidance. Following up on quotations and completed projects to ensure customer satisfaction. Working closely with manufacturer representatives on project opportunities. Attending industry trade shows, networking events, and customer functions. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Becoming the trusted resource customers rely on for advice and support.
The Candidate We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and understands that long-term success comes from building trust.
You are naturally curious, ask thoughtful questions, and enjoy learning about your customers' businesses. You don't simply provide pricing—you provide solutions and stay engaged throughout the entire project.
We're Looking For Someone Who Offers
Experience selling roofing products or building materials is required. Commercial sales experience within the construction industry is considered a strong asset. Strong relationship-building and customer service skills. Excellent communication and follow-up abilities. A proactive and organized approach to managing projects and customer needs. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with internal teams and manufacturer partners. A positive attitude with a genuine desire to help customers succeed.

Competitive base salary of $70,000–$85,000, based on experience. Profit-sharing program with earning potential of up to $40,000 annually. Mileage reimbursement paid at the current CRA rate.
