In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, and overhauling small engines and mechanical systems that power lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and related equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in small engines and powered equipment.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and overhauls to restore equipment to proper working condition.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of equipment.
• Provide recommendations for parts, repairs, or replacements when necessary
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Deliver excellent customer service when explaining repairs and equipment status.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a small engine technician or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of small engines and related mechanical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification or training in small engine repair is an asset.
• Valid Class 3 driver?s license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location:

This position is based in the office, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday hours
