About the role
This employment opportunity is restricted to Nunavut Inuit who reside in Rankin Inlet only.
Reporting to the Manager, Residence and Facility, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for students, staff, and visitors in all Nunavut Arctic College buildings (Nunavut Arctic College, New Residence and Family Residence Units). The position ensures all students and college staff that work at a Nunavut Arctic College facility or live in the New Residence or Family Residence Units are safe and secure by ensuring all fire regulations and other college student residence rules and regulations are adhered to.
