About the role
Brandt is currently seeking a Precision Agriculture Lead to be based in our Red Deere Agriculture location.
The Precision Ag Lead provides regional and store-level direction on how the company delivers Precision Ag offerings and works with customers on building their Data Journey. In this role you will lead the Precision Specialists within the assigned region to ensure company objectives are executed and required to stay abreast of the latest product offerings in the Precision Ag space and play a role in determining new product offerings for our customers. Additionally, you will ensure that all Precision Ag orders a filled out correctly and manage overall stock, inventory control, settlements and be responsible for regional PAES targets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Precision Ag direction and implementation

Working with the Director of Precision, you will ensure that the company vision of the Precision Ag division is implemented within your area of responsibility.

Ensure PAES goals are met.

Conduct weekly production meetings with the Precision Ag Specialists

Onboard, support, and provide resource tools for Precision Ag Specialists

Communicate monthly and yearly KPIs

Support specialists working with Branch, Service, Sales, and Parts Managers
Precision Ag Warehouse Management

Ordering and stock Management of all items in the Precision Ag Warehouse

Reviewing all Precision Ag Order forms

Allocation of specific limited hardware
Training/Sale Supports

Train/Communicate the importance of Precision Hardware, PAES, Performance Upgrade Kits, Operation Centers, Weather Stations, and Data Solutions. On how it is beneficial both internally and customer-facing.

Required Skills

Proficient in Microsoft office suite

Demonstrated affinity for technology-related solutions and can adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Must have an aptitude for computer-related technology to comply with process and reporting needs.

Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, employees, and branch personnel at all levels.
Required Experience
-
- Demonstrated experience delivering customer solutions and leading a large team.
- Knowledge of John Deere Operation Center and John Deere precision Ag products considered an asset.
- Technology/Agronomy background considered an asset.
- Must be able to obtain, or currently possess a valid passport and be able to travel within Canada as well as internationally.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
