The Ministry of Energy and Resources, Saskatchewan Geological Survey, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Digital Conversion Specialist. Reporting to the Manager of Well Log Digitization, this position will support a one-year project converting geophysical well logs into LAS format using Neuralog software. This position requires excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team with respect to carrying out the duties assigned in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidates will be/have:

• Interest in geosciences and subsurface geology;
• Knowledge of the Dominion Land Survey System;
• Comfortable working with specialized computer applications;
• Organized, able to prioritize and proficiently complete tasks with tight deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Thorough and accurate to ensure quality work; and,
• Adaptable to positively meet new challenges as they arise.

Hours of Work**:**A - SGEU Office 36 - one day off every two weeks
