Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible to the Manager. As an interdisciplinary team member the therapist is required to assess, diagnose and treat children. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education
- Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Leadership abilities to provide direction to staff speech language pathologists
- Promote professional development of staff and engender job satisfaction
- Ability to work with young children individually and in small groups.
- Knowledge of resources available to 0-5 population and caregivers in urban area
- Knowledge of needs of young children and social and environmental factors
- Significant experience in adult population in context of complex medical needs
Other Information
- Experience and training with the Hanen Program is preferred.
- Registered as SALSPA
