About the Role

Charter is currently seeking a motivated Junior Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to support cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance initiatives, and business continuity planning. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in policy creation, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.

What You’ll Do

• Support development and maintenance of cybersecurity governance frameworks.
• Conduct third‑party and internal security risk assessments.
• Perform security compliance reviews and track remediation.
• Assist with internal/external audit preparation and evidence collection.
• Contribute to security awareness and training program development.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning activities.
• Document risks, exceptions, standards, and procedures.
• Work with GRC platforms and support ongoing process improvements.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance.
• 3+ years in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Planning.
• Experience developing policies, standards, and procedures.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
• Background in IT and/or ICS/SCADA environments.
• Experience with GRC tools and risk management documentation.
• At least one relevant security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, ABCP, MBCP, etc.).
• Relevant experience within North America.
