About the role
Dream is looking for a Site Labourer! We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community. Dream is looking for a Site Labourer to assist with the day-to-day maintenance and operations of our construction and warranty sites.
What will you do? Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:
- Perform small construction tasks, trade requests and scheduling;
- Ensure the homes are ready for the trades as the home build schedule progresses;
- Maintain job sites and work environments accessible and safe at all times to prevent injuries and hazards for our trade partners and employees;
- Collect and dispose of construction waste and recycle materials where applicable;
- Perform paperwork or administration activities related to job sites in a timely manner; and
- Ensure compliance of building codes and our corporate safety program.
What type of experience and skills do you have? These are only some of the things we’d like you to bring to the table:
- High School Diploma, completion of Trade School with focus on construction would be an asset.
- 1+ years’ of construction related experience, residential home building experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of residential home construction.
- Understanding of OH&S codes.
- Understanding of Building Standards Codes.
- Certified SCOT, First Aid with CPR & AED and fall protection preferred.
This is a site position and will require driving.
