About the Role
We're looking for an experienced sales professional with a passion for travel. In this role, formally titled 'Destination Expert', you will guide clients in building their ultimate trip toAlaska, US National Parks, Canadian Rockies, Hawaiiand more within North America.
This is a consultative sales role where leads are provided to you, while you focus on guiding clients through the full sales cycle, from initial discovery call to post-travel follow-up. Our most successful salespeople use a high-touch service approach, thoughtful storytelling, and personalised itineraries that show genuine care for every step of the client's travel experience - no detail is too small!
This is a hybrid role for anyone located within a commutable distance to our downtown Toronto office; otherwise, it is a work-from-home opportunity.
What You'll Do:
- Use sales techniques and persuasive communication to convert enquiries into bookings
- Lead in-depth discovery calls with each client to understand the vision, style, and preferences for their trip
- Design tailor-made itineraries in collaboration with our teams in-destination
- Present proposals with confidence and use storytelling to build excitement for Kensington's unique offerings
- Guiding clients through each step of the booking process, providing seamless communication throughout
- Act as a trusted advisor before, during, and after client journeys
- Follow up post-travel to collect feedback, request referrals, and encourage them to come back to you for future trips
- Be trained on new and exclusive products/experiences Kensington offers that differentiate it from other tour operators
What You'll Need/Have:
- 2+ years of consultative sales experience, ideally with luxury clients or high-ticket products/services
- Experience in successfully meeting sales targets by converting interest into bookings
- First-hand experience living in/travelling to Alaska & Hawaii, or visiting US National Parks & the Canadian Rockies - a nice to have
- Deep passion for travel and strong destination knowledge with a desire to help others explore the world
- A confident and articulate communication style that shows emotional intelligence and active listening skills
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail to manage multiple journeys simultaneously
- Adaptability and resourcefulness to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Experience in luxury travel or hospitality is an asset

We provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $45,000 with the opportunity to participate in a commission program tied to achievable targets and individual performance. The expected compensation range for this position is: $45,000 to $75,000.
Actual compensation may vary depending on local market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
