About the role
About The Role The Plumbing Manager is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing plumbing operations, field teams, and project execution across multiple sites. This role ensures jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards while supporting team development and client relationships.
This role is ideal for a Red Seal Journeyman Plumber with several years of experience managing teams and projects, who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee plumbing operations for residential and commercial projects
- Lead and mentor a team of plumbers and apprentices
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules and material needs
- Ensure all work complies with codes, safety policies, and quality standards
- Support estimating, quoting, and project planning
- Inspect ongoing and completed work for accuracy and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
- Build and maintain positive client relationships
- Support hiring, training, and performance evaluations for plumbing staff
Qualifications
- Red Seal Certified Journeyman Plumber (Required)
- 5-10+ years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of commercial and residential systems
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driving record (Required)
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Proficient with mobile apps, work orders, and scheduling systems
- Must have extensive working knowledge of grease interceptors
- Backflow or Gas Fitter Certification considered assets
- Physically capable of performing site inspections and hands-on work as needed
- Legally authorized to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
- Clean criminal record required
