Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician Location: Goldencare Pharmacy — Outpatient Pharmacy, Joseph Brant Hospital
Summary: Goldencare Pharmacy is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician for our outpatient pharmacy at Joseph Brant Hospital. The successful candidate will support dispensing, automation, and unit-dose/strip packaging operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery.
Key Requirements:
Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing Proven Kroll experience (required) Familiarity with PacMed strip packaging and pharmacy automation systems Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital outpatient setting Valid provincial registration and required immunizations as per hospital policy Responsibilities:
Prepare and verify prescriptions and discharge medications Operate Kroll and other pharmacy software for dispensing and recordkeeping Manage PacMed strip packaging and automation workflows Maintain inventory, record controlled substances, and ensure regulatory compliance Provide patient-focused service and collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams
