Job Description
Our Corporate Headquarters is looking for a Product Planning Intern for a one-year placement. The ideal candidate will be an automotive enthusiast who is very detail oriented, self-motivated, and interested in a career in the luxury automotive industry. As a member of the Product Planning team, you will support in the development and implementation of BMW Group Canada short and long-term product, pricing, and volume strategies.
What awaits you?
Support in implementing product and pricing strategies for the Canadian market. Preparation for senior executive level product and pricing presentations. Competitive research and analysis. Development and distribution of internal and external product communications. Review of various assets and media for verification of product-correctness. Database and systems management, including data extraction, entry, and manipulation. Tracking and maintenance of pre-production vehicles.
What should you bring along?
Enrolled in at least the 3rd year of a university program in Business Administration or related discipline. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Very strong attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritize. Self-labelled as an automotive enthusiast. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with Tableau or similar tools preferred, but not required. A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record. Own transportation is also required.

Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $47,000 - $49,000, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
