Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Class 3 Drivers – Tree Delivery & Planting. This seasonal position involves delivering andhand plantingtrees across Calgary and surrounding areas using a knuckle crane or dolly. Training on the knuckle crane will be provided if required.

Position Overview This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and a willingness to work long hours. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery and planting of trees for residential and commercial clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver trees and hand-plant at various locations within Calgary and the surrounding areas.
• Operate trucks and equipment, including a knuckle crane (training provided if needed).
• Interact with customers to ensure trees are appropriately placed and provide excellent customer service.
• Load and secure deliveries while maintaining accurate logbooks and records.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Qualifications Required:

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Professional driving experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members.
• Knowledge of Calgary’s street systems and the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight residential areas.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including working long hours as required.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Preferred:

• Experience with knuckle cranes, water trucks, loaders, tele-dynes, forklifts, or other equipment.
