About the role
CGI is looking for enthusiastic and talented students for our .NET Developer Intern position for Fall 2026. As an intern, you will be called upon to support our business units and help deliver excellent service to our clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase a strong academic background, combined with an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for working closely with CGI leaders.
To foster collaboration and partnership with clients, interns will be required to work on-site several times per week.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Understand client needs and system specifications for .NET applications.
- Develop .NET applications and components according to standard methodologies established by the team.
- Write functional and technical process documentation for developed solutions.
- Ensure quality programming by performing thorough testing of .NET applications.
- Review peer code and suggest improvements to optimize performance and code quality.
- Contribute to managing and updating the team’s technical knowledge library.
- Build and deploy .NET applications in non-production environments and/or develop automation scripts for code deployments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Must be a student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET framework.
- Knowledge of web production technologies (HTML, ASP.NET, MVC, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML).
- Experience in drafting specifications, programming, testing, debugging, detailed descriptions, and ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of programs.
- Experience in object-oriented design and user interface development.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work independently.
- Good oral and written French skills required for this position.
