About the role
Are you a confident driver with towing experience and a knack for solving problems on the fly? Join our Towing Team and play a key role in keeping the festival moving. These full-time, temporary positions work on the festival site near Salmo, BC, between July 21-28, 2026. The Tow Truck Driver at Shambhala Music Festival is a crucial role within the Towing Team, responsible for operating tow trucks and assisting in the efficient removal of vehicles as needed. This role involves hands-on towing operations, collaboration with team members, and contributing to a safe and organized festival environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Operate tow trucks to safely and efficiently remove vehicles from festival grounds. Collaborate with the Tow Truck Captain to receive towing assignments and coordinate operations. Communicate effectively with the Transport Team to address towing-related needs. Follow towing procedures and adhere to WorkSafeBC regulations during all operations. Assist in monitoring festival grounds for unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles.
Daily completion of all Pre-Trip Inspections
Complete all SiteDocs sign-off’s and training Communicate effectively with the Logistics Coordinator, Security Team, Traffic Control and Transport Supervisor to address security-related towing needs. Respond to towing assignments promptly and efficiently. Report any issues or challenges during towing operations to the Tow Truck Captain. Ensure the proper securing and transporting of towed vehicles. Collaborate with towing companies and local authorities as directed by the Tow Truck Captain. Adhere to health and safety protocols during all towing activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid tow truck driver's license. Previous experience in towing operations is an asset.

Pay Rate
