Location: St. Lambert, Quebec (CA-QC)
Assignment: Temporary
Hours of work: A minimum of 44 h every 2 weeks
Salary: Step 1: CAN32.52/hour to *Step 2: CAN35.04/hour (*after the 90 day probation period)

Your responsibilities
-
Perform activities related to the mooring and unmooring of vessels.

Carry out general maintenance tasks for the locks and assist with minor emergency repairs on lock equipment.

Conduct operations related to the facilities in compliance with applicable safety requirements.

Apply safe work practices in accordance with the organization’s safety programs and relevant legislation.
Your profile
-
Hold a high school diploma and have completed at least one year of post-secondary studies.

Valid Class G (Ontario) or Class 5 (Quebec) driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Ability to communicate in English to ensure the safe passage of ships and boats through the Seaway.

Eligibility for Marine Transportation Security Clearance.

Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule and be on call as required.

Ability to work at heights, at depths, near open water, or in confined spaces.

Availability to undergo a medical examination, functional abilities evaluation, and drug test.
