About the role
Voyago is hiring new roles for 2 Full-Time and 1 Part-Time driver out of Sarnia! As a Shuttle Driver, you will provide safe and reliable shuttle services out of Sarnia. Drivers play an important role in ensuring passengers have a positive travel experience, whether they are commuting for work, school, appointments, or shopping. In addition to operating the bus safely and on schedule, you will provide friendly customer service, assist passengers as needed, and help ensure smooth connections to various communities. Your Role Safely transport passengers along the assigned route Complete basic vehicle inspections at the start of each shift to ensure the bus is in safe working condition Operate the scheduled service beginning in Sarnia, with designated stops and other communities along the route Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach, assisting passengers as needed Have flexible availability to work morning and afternoon shifts throughout the week. Your Profile You are a safe driver with a clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety You can provide a clean criminal record check and/or vulnerable sector screening You hold a valid commercial driver’s licence (F, B, or C class applicants are preferred) You demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions You are familiar with Sarnia and the surrounding areas You have intermediate (B1) to advanced (C2) English language skills You are physically capable of bending, twisting, pushing and pulling wheelchairs Work Location Your shift will start and end in Sarnia ON at Lambton College Shift Schedule Full Time: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (5:00AM - 3:30PM) Full Time: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (5:00AM - 3:30PM) Part Time: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (2:45PM = 8:30PM Hourly Rate The rate for this position is $20.05 per hour.
