Mandate:

Reporting to the Customs Manager, theCustoms Technical Analystwill provide customs technical support by maintaining client databases and reducing exposure to non-compliance for both Delmar and our clients, and to reduce transactional errors. The analyst must have an excellent understanding of customs processes in order to deal with possible client disputes and resolve them. The analyst will be auditing and reviewing B3 documents of all internal customs raters as well as the freight department in order to ensure the accuracy of information needed to clear a given shipment.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in the Customs Brokerage industry
• College Diploma in International Transportation & Customs or related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Canadian customs regulations & trade processes and programs
• Experience in CargoWise One system or related brokerage systems is considered an asset
• CCS, CTCS, LCB designations are preferred
