About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Matching, on a full-time temporary basis on our Corporate Accounting team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, SK. Members of this team are currently coming into the office one day a week.
What you’ll do:
- Match supplier and interbranch invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies using appropriate GL coding.
- Prepare and process supplier claims, including damages, shortages, manual adjustments, and journal entries.
- Collaborate with FCL commodities and distribution centers to ensure timely, accurate matching and issue resolution with vendors.
- Support the Accounts Payable team in identifying and clearing system mismatches and investigating claim disputes.
- Other duties as required.
Who you’ll work with: You will work closely with 4 other Accounting Technicians and will be part of a larger team of professionals reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of teamwork and conversation, helping to share the workload to meet stakeholder needs.

Who you are: You are looking for a career in Finance and :
- Have a high school diploma, two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution, and a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
