This role is anticipated to start in July 2026 following the completion of construction at the flour mill.

P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.

Your Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees all inventory, warehousing, and distribution activities. This role manages inbound and outbound freight, ensures compliance with safety and organizational policies, and provides strong leadership to support efficient logistics operations.

Day to Day

• Oversee the receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of all incoming and outgoing freight.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure orders are shipped on time and according to schedule.
• Monitor and communicate delays or variances in freight movement.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization while preventing damage or loss.
• Ensure proper documentation for regulated or hazardous materials.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, delegation, and performance management.
• Conduct inventory spot‑checks, resolve discrepancies, and investigate lost or damaged shipments.
• Manage equipment needs and oversee purchasing of warehouse machinery and supplies.
• Implement and track performance metrics for shipping and receiving functions.

Required Qualifications

This role is anticipated to start inJuly 2026following the completion of construction at the flour mill.

• Post‑secondary education in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Professional designations such as P.Log, CITT, SCMP, or equivalent are considered assets.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the leadership or supervision of warehouse or distribution/logistics operations.
• Familiarity with food safety standards such as BRC, HACCP or SQF.
• Strong Excel skills with solid proficiency in Microsoft Word and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in environments with flour dust, noise, vibration, and varying temperatures while adhering to all PPE requirements.
